Nissan is making the already sexiest coupe on the road even hotter by taking off the top on the new 2010 370Z! With no top, great curves and simply amazing performance... er wait, am I still talking about a car? Yes, yes I believe I am! Auto Week is also in love with the new roadster and they even have some great video footage in their weekly web feature, you can check it out here. Its toward the end of the clip but well worth the wait. They will be out soon so you should email me for more about reserving yours!

John Bradshaw is awesome. Thats all, end of story, period. Ok, there is more to the story but it really COULD end right there. You see John is the owner, builder and driver of the fastest Nissan on the planet and no that isnt just what HE says. The Z based dragster you see here is powered by an extremely messaged and very enhanced version of the Z's 3.5l V6, only his develops oh somewhere around 1,900hp! Yeah, from a dead stop 60 mph is reached in 1.2 seconds, 168 mph in a mere 4.1 and um, 216 in only say...6.6 seconds! The project ZED dragster will makes its racing debut next month at the European Finals held at the Santa Pod Raceway, yes I will be posting info as its available! BTW, the OTHER car in his garage jus so happens to be the fastest Japanese car in Europe 2008; his 1997 Skyline RWD GTST that has just over 1,150hp (yes AT the wheels!) and covers the quarter mile in a scant 7.68 at 177mph! The eGM folks have a bit more and some specs too. Yeah, John is awesome... "No, no it doesnt have a HEMI in it but so what!" Last year Nissan entered a joint production agreement with Dodge for the next generation Titan trucks, Dodge would supply the rolling chassis including the HEMI and Nissan would wrap it up with the Titan body and interior. Thankfully (or maybe not depending on your view...) the Dodge boys done went under and had to be rescues by the Italians who are more concerned with getting things in order before they can sell product to others. Part of the agreemant also included the sale of the Nissan built small cars (read: Versa) to Dodge for sale in South America which will also be discontinued now. The company press release can be seen here. I for one thought the Titan was an awesome freshman attempt and I hope they continue to improve on an already great truck, I believe it really can be a contender to the reining blue oval king! Ok, perhaps sex on wheels IS a bit much but I do think the next generation M series from our lil bro's over at Infinity are extremely hot looking! Inspiration from the Essence concept vehicle simply oozes from every curve and power is not going to be in short supply as there will be over 400 ponies providing the motion. Even the V6 powered M37 will be pushed forward by 382 hp so there really is no 'base model' of the M line! The new M sedans were released to the world virtually this weekend and I for one cannot wait to see them in the real world! More info including word of hybrid models can be read over at eGM. As announced previously the micro site for the all new electric vehicle, now know to be named the Leaf, launched today with specs, pic and the whole story of Nissan's 'Holistic Approach'. The new Leaf has a cruising range of 100 miles on a full charge, can be quick charged to 80% in a half hour and NO TAIL PIPE! Take a few to check out the site here for all the scoop, no word on pricing yet... |
