For a die hard car dude, such as yours truly, the image to the left is about as close to 'car porn' as it gets while still being accepable to view at work! Although I dont typically fancy the German road machines, being full Itallian and all, the 911 is one of those icons that pretty much every teenage boy has had a poster of on the wall at one point in thier youth! Seeing this picture just took me back to when I was a lad so I simply had to post it, theres some stuff about the new hybrid race version blah blah blah... All I know is this is an awesome pic! Recently Kia Motors Corporation hosted a group of approximately 20 journalists, selected by  PR reps at Kia Motors France, Kia Motors America and Kia Canada Inc., who arrived in Seoul last week to test drive Kia Soul in its home environment. It was, to say the least, a  little crazy. Most seasoned journalists have driven in big cities, congested traffic, narrow  streets, torrential rains and foreign lands. But very rarely do they get to combine all of these challenges in a one-and-a-half-day test drive! Its been a tough few years for most of us and the folks at Car and Driver along with the editors of the Autos section at Yahoo thought it would be great to put together a list of the most AFFORDABLE vehicles to own. Keeping in mind the old saying that a 'good deal' is more than a number, they also factored in stuff like fuel costs and insurance to get a full view of overall ownership costs. As the economic downturn makes an upward swing the recently dormant styling designers are back at the drawing tables. Now that Kia's great looks have caught up with the incredible quality and sales are increasing in leaps and bounds, Kia can aggressively expand into new market segments. The picture here shows our up coming entry into the coupe arena; all I have to say is the long reigning Accord coupe bes be lookin out! Yesterday my good friend Jung Woo-Chul posted a real cool article on the Kia Buzz site about Kia's commitment to great sound reproduction, ie rockin stereos! Ok, Mr. Woo-Chul isnt as much my 'good friend' as much as just an awesome guy who has the best job around; he is a research engineer with the Multimedia Evaluation Team. He actually gets to listen to stereos all day! Here is what an engineer says about a stereo; "Using psychoacoustic and signal processing techniques, the system can play frequencies beyond the speakers’ range. The result is a powerful bass sound you would get with a subwoofer. This is how the system works. Dynamic compression boosts low-pitched sounds that are difficult to hear without distortion. Harmonics that cannot be played by speakers are added using missing fundamental technology to create a virtual bass sound. With our attention to technology, in addition to design, Kia is finding ways to enhance the joy of driving.
And this is how is sounds in normal folks language; "A powerful bass system is essential to maximizing your listening pleasure. (!) I like this guy!
