Whoa... a week, a whole freakin week has blown by me without even a typed peep... sorry fans, but what a week its been! For the second time in just our first 5 months of being open we were again ranked by Kia Motors America as the #1 Kia Dealer in California and those cars dont sell themselves, well not entirely by themselves! None the less I have ignored my lil site for too long, so I set out this morning to find something wonderful for you all to at least TRY and make it up to you! As you know my Friday CarPorn posts are just random pics that jump out at me as I stumble across them and today's JUMPED! Last week that stunning red head stopped my heart as I lost my breath for a moment, this week it was exactly opposite. I saw this pic and my pulse jumped to about 200, better than a triple mocha espresso! Not only is is a great shot, from the drivers seat of an amazing steel chariot pulled by some 700 plus raging horses... but if you look closely, closer... see the distributor? Yeah, clearly at the REAR of the engine? Yup, that my friends is an old school, original 392 HEMI! Yes the 426 is the grandfather of all straight-line motor sports but is was the early 331/392 series what began it all. Recently Kia sponsored a photgraphy contest in which college students in Korea were invited to drive new Kia Soul's to various Korean landmarks in around Seoul and snap some pics of the "Soul in Seoul". The winning pics were posted to day on the Kia blog page and some are really good, much better than the picture of the mythical gaurdian of Seoul you see here!
